About

An independent company building tools for pilots.

TDx Aero is the company behind ANA. We build software for the parts of flying that happen on the ground — the logging, the tracking, the paperwork — so that they take less of a pilot's attention.

What we build

ANA is a suite, not a single application. Each product handles one need well and shares the same foundations: one account, one design language, one model of your flying data. AnaLog, the digital logbook, is the first product. AnaBrief, AnaMet and AnaDocs follow.

How we build it

Three rules decide whether a feature exists at all. It has to save time, reduce the risk of error, or make information easier to understand. A feature that does none of those three is not added, however easy it would be to build.

Where a rule can be computed, we compute it rather than asking the pilot to. Where a number matters — for currency, for licensing, for a regulatory record — the pilot can always reach the data behind it. A number you cannot verify is a number you will eventually stop trusting.

Where the line is

ANA organises, calculates, explains and reminds. It does not certify, it does not approve, and it does not make operational decisions. Aviation places responsibility on the pilot, and our software is designed around that rather than around it.

Your data

Your logbook belongs to you. AnaLog stores it on your device, exports it in open formats, and can bring in the history you already have elsewhere. Cloud backup and synchronisation are an option on the Plus plan — never a condition of using the app.

We read everything that comes in.
